Defne Weaver, MSW, LCSW, CCM, CFSW
My style is direct, compassionate, and insight-oriented. I provide a steady, grounded presence — especially for individuals who were never fully heard or were taught to silence themselves.
I want you to know “you are not alone”.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in the field. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Colorado State University and specialize in working with adult and senior populations.
I am experienced in treating Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma-related conditions, and I bring a depth of clinical understanding shaped by extensive work in medical, oncology, palliative care, hospice, and hospital settings. This background allows me to approach therapy with a holistic, systems-oriented lens — recognizing the complex intersection of emotional, physical, and relational health.
I believe deeply in the mind, body, and soul connection and practice from a holistic, strength-based perspective that honors each client’s resilience and capacity for growth.
My priorty is attending to your needs to help you flourish and become your best self.
Beyond the Therapy Room
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, cooking, playing with my dog June Bug, and connecting with my adult children. These grounding practices reflect my belief that healing and balance extend beyond the therapy room.
Additionally, I am a Reiki Master and practitioner, and when aligned with client goals, I incorporate mind-body awareness practices to support emotional regulation and healing.
